Adecco was in the market for an HR and employee solution that would help with employee retention and help reduce administration. One of the strategies for improving retention was finding a way to ensure employees were aware of the true value of their compensation beyond just their salary. Together with Benify, Adecco made the decision to launch an employee benefits and total rewards platform called ‘You!’ to help them with these challenges.

Adecco belongs to parent company The Adecco Group along with a large number of other brands including Modis, Spring Professional, Badenoch & Clark, Pontoon, Vettery, YOSS, Adia and Lee Hecht Harrison. In total, The Adecco Group employs more than 30,000 employees across 60 countries and territories worldwide.

With its market-leading global benefits and total rewards platform, Benify sought to help Adecco reduce HR administration and create greater employee independence. Adecco launched their employee benefits platform, ‘You!’ on 1 September 2017. Since launching, an impressive 96% of employees are now aware of their total reward.

We incorporated our benefits budgets and reward statements so that it would give employees a better understanding of their working conditions at Adecco”, explains Niels Kater, HR Analytics & Application Management Specialist at Adecco in the Netherlands.

After the benefits platform’s success in the Netherlands, Adecco is now in the process of rolling out the platform to the Modis, Spring Professional, and Badenoch & Clark brands.

“There’s lots of movement at Adecco Group, and a lot of countries are curious about how we handle HR processes here in the Netherlands. We definitely have a lot of plans to roll out a lot more in the future”, Niels says excitedly.

  • 1Self-Service = Greater Employee Independence

    In addition to regular vacation days, Adecco offers employees in the Netherlands an additional 13 days a year, which employees can choose to have paid out fully, paid out in part, or take as vacation days. Processing every employee’s request consumes an enormous amount of time. However, with ‘You!’, all holidays are calculated, handled and booked directly in the benefits platform. This self-selection benefit is the second most visited benefit in the platform.

    Today, thanks to the benefits and total rewards platform, 96% of employees are aware of their total compensation based on the number of unique visits.
  • 3Making Information Easy to Find

    The “What if” page, which is the starting point for all interactions and questions usually sent to HR, is another popular feature with nearly 100% of all employees having visited this page. Similarly, the “What if” page for managers has been viewed by almost 100% of all managers and at a staggering average of 30 times per manager.
